A Public Service Announcement

As if anything I have to say is important enough.

At any rate, it has been brought to my attention that I'm speaking a bit of a different language since moving to Virginia.

No, I am not cussing every time I say Norfolk... I just can't bring myself to say it like the locals.

I might be brushing up on my southern accent to keep my roots strong.  Good grief... eventually I'll have kids, and they must have a southern accent.  What would my family say if they didn't?  How would they understand their uncles?  Because let me tell you... they wouldn't.

I digress.

I say all that to say this.  When you hear me say When I write WEC, it means Waters Edge Church.

WEC = Waters Edge Church.

It's our church now.  It's where we belong.  It's the reason we moved to Virginia... to be a part of it.

And let me tell you, we love our church!

So say it with me.  WEC = Waters Edge Church.

Oh, and it's not W-E-C... it's WEC, as in one word.  It sounds like "Weck."

So... yup.  That's about all, folks.  (Imagine if I were talking like the locals... how, exactly, do you pronounce that?!?!)
