In the wake of the terrible tragedy that happened a week ago with Trooper Shawn Blanton, I've been reflecting a lot. I knew I was blessed with my wonderful, amazing husband before, but tragedy brings it more to reality.
I can't really say any words except that anyone who reads this, keep his wife, Michaela, and their 3 week old son, Tye, in your prayers. They both need it more than anyone could imagine.
