I didn't! So I went over to wikipedia and didn't really find anything, and then went on to Google. And???
And I found this site. I'm going to trust it as a reliable source since it's from the UK government and all.
Pretty much, they didn't have a last name for a long time. They didn't need one because everyone knew who they were. But when they do need one, they now have one. It's Mountbatten-Windsor.
So now you know. They don't need one, but they have one.
On another note, why is Kate trying to lose weight?
