Socks.

Does anyone like doing laundry?  Would you like to explain why?

I'm okay with throwing the laundry in the washer.  Even moving it to the dryer.  But folding, hanging up, and putting away the clean clothes?  That's where laundry day comes to a screeching halt.

And worse?  Socks.

It seems like more of them don't match than do.

Seriously... we are two grown adults.  All the clothes are washed and put away except these.

Where are their mates?  Where could they possibly be?

What on earth will happen when we have kids?

How is laundry day at your house?  Is it organized or mayhem?  Who gets stuck folding everything?

I completely understand! The worst is that Drew will do the laundry, but refuses to fold/put it away. I prefer my clothes to be un-wrinkled and free of cat hair when I wear it, but this just does not happen when they sit in a pile on the desk until I can fold them... As for the sock issue, I set aside unmatched socks until the next load, then they get thrown away. I'd rather buy new socks than wait for their mate to appear from wherever it wandered. (Note: the pets seem to be the culprit in our home since I find a sock under the couch whenever I move it to vaccuum...)

The sock mystery will forever be just that, a mystery! I can't explain it and I will ask God one day upon arrival into heaven where in the heck they all go to! I'm serious...I might wait a while to ask, but believe me, I'm asking!

I hate laundry and everything about it. BONUS: baby/toddler clothes shrink like mad crazy, so unless you want them in shirts at their belly button and pants at their ankles, you must hang dry them! Oh such fun!

I don't mind washing/drying, I despise folding and AG unfolds everything I fold, so really its futile and I don't know why I do it when she's awake. Oh well...

I always buy the same black ankle socks so they will always have a match.
