Invisible and Invincible.

Ellie loves getting inside boxes, baskets, cabinets... you name it.  We first discovered that when she was just a kitten.  In our old house we had some boxes and she would find a lid flipped upside down and turn it into her own personal boat.  We walked in the bedroom and she had it pulled up next to her water bowl, which was an automatic refill, and was swatting the water out onto the floor and her box lid.

We took one look at each other and pretended we were in boats ourselves.

That was the day that Ellie discovered her parents were not normal.

Then there was the time that we put her in a cabinet to see how long it would take her to get out.  We were trying to teach her a lesson to not go in the cabinets.

After a minute (which is a really long time if you think about it), she didn't even bother to try to get out.

So we peeked in the cabinet and she was totally just chillin' in there.

When she gets inside laundry baskets, she likes to pretend that she's invisible.  She'll peek at everyone else, and she's invincible.  Invisible and invincible.

But then times like this happen.  And it's beautiful.  I like to call this, "Oh crap."  And then she remembers that she is shark bait.

And Jigsaw is the shark.

If you haven't already, check out my new 'Cast of Characters' tab at the top of this page!  It explains a little bit more about the main characters in this little ol' blog.
