Happy Birthday, Fourtha.

Happy 4th of July!  Let's celebrate that we live in this awesome country!  Sure, we have our issues, but this is our chance to set those aside and enjoy some good food, friends, and fireworks!

When it comes down to it, there's certainly no where I'd rather live.

I know I'll be celebrating with my family cookout and fireworks afterwards. Josh and I are also going to visit the church we were members at (and he was the worship pastor at) when we first got married, and I'm also going to take pictures of an adorable 2 month old!  How will you be celebrating?

One quick story that I feel the need to like to share every July 4th.  Last year we were at the graveyard saying goodbye to my dear sweet great-grandmother when I saw a gravestone.  The person's first name was Fourtha.  Kind of an odd name, but we're in the south, and it was an older gravestone.

Then I saw Fourtha's birthday.  You guessed it. Fourtha was born on the 4th of July!

Now, I didn't take a picture because I think taking a picture of someone's gravestone for this type of use is just wrong.  But do you know anyone named Fourtha?  Ever heard of anyone named Fourtha?  Do you know this Fourtha?

I ask because I am way curious about this.  Was it a joke that poor Fourtha had to live with?

At any rate, Happy Birthday, USA, and Happy Birthday Fourtha!
