A few thoughts.

My friend's mother posted some interesting pictures on facebook earlier this week.  They are from our high school band days circa 2003.  Here are my thoughts as I looked through them:

I would kill for that waistline again.  (I'm front row middle with the purple shirt)

This picture I couldn't help but just laugh and laugh.  Amanda (white shirt, sparkly skirt) had a costume party for her birthday.  She was a fairy (I think).

Julie (next to her in the blue & green dress) was... well I don't think she even knew what she was.  I'm in the back with the orange shirt and [real] fur coat.

Mom?  Do you still have that coat?  Why do you have a fur coat?

I was Mary Kate Olsen.  Mainly because I didn't like the name Ashley as much-- just wasn't as cool.

Sara (front row with the prego belly) was not actually pregnant [and still doesn't have any kiddos, but did just get married!].  She dressed up as a pregnant teenager.  :)

And Bridgette?  She's the one with the red & black wig and 1980s colorguard flag draped around her shoulders.  And yes, that's a stethoscope.  I don't even want to know what she was.  (I also don't think she knew what she was).

Moral of the story?  We were terrible with costume parties.

I don't even want to talk about this. No wait.  I do.  Why are two of us dressed for winter and the other two for summer?  And who is that girl with the ridiculous face on the far right?

Fun fact: Two of my best friends in high school were named Justin and Randi.  Both girls.

This one is fun.  We were all suckers for face paint.  Except it was apparently cool to have it up and down your arms.  Wait... I'm the only one with it on my arm.  Bonus that I have no idea whose shirt I was wearing that day.

Oh the things I would say if I saw this group of girls walking around in Universal Studios.
