pastor's wives exposed

haha... props to me for that great title! :) I'm pretty proud of myself on that one.

I read an awesome blog today that got me to thinking. Pastor's wife hold a very different connotation at each church. We come in all different shapes and sizes, different amounts of kids, different walks of life, senses of style, and definitely different attitudes. But the one thing we all have in common? We are opinionated!

Yes, if you didn't know it before, we are very opinionated women. Behind every married pastor is a wife who thinks she knows how to really do things best. That's what's hiding behind that sweet little smile and supportive pat on the back. Now, some of us are quiet and don't share these opinions, some share with a diary, some with their hubby's, and some with the world.

Is it good to be opinionated? At times, but it's usually best if we share it with our diaries. Now, I'm not saying that all pastor's wives need to shut up and not share their feelings, but we do need to chill sometimes and let our husband's do what God's called them to do!

PS-- I'm also not saying that us wives aren't called-- we definitely are!!
